My weird style of Little Women fandom has produced "the March sisters as Puccini opera heroines" and "the March sisters as Shakespeare heroines"... Now I give you "the March sisters as each of the four leads from The Wizard of Oz."

In a modern AU where the sisters all decided to wear Wizard of Oz-themed Halloween costumes, who would they be?

Meg: Dorothy. The warm, sensible nurturer of the quartet, who often dreams of a "better" life, but who always eventually realizes that there's no place like home.

Jo: The Scarecrow. She's gangly and clumsy like he is, and with her writing and reading, she's definitely the "intellectual" of the group.

Beth: The Tin Man. The tender and gentle "heart" of the quartet.

Amy: The Cowardly Lion. Of course Amy's no coward, but she does share his "certain air of savoir faire," and she would love to be the local "queen of the forest" (in wealth and popularity).

If Laurie wanted to tag along, he could dress as the Wizard himself... or maybe put on a dog suit and be Toto.

I'm not that huge into them as a pairing in the main canon, but there's something really endearing about Salecrow/Ivy. I just like the idea of an otherworldly plant elemental and her pet freak.

Tbh despite getting canceled and having to cram its story into twelve episodes and not making good on a lot of things that were planned or probably should've happened earlier I actually don't think Gotham really declines in quality

The feeling of the atmosphere changes over time, sometimes by design, other times by changing hands, but I don't think it declines in quality

I kind of 🧍 think a lot of the writing was pretty bad/silly to begin with, it doesn't really get Worse

#Like idk I see people say it falls off with the hugo strange shit in. Literally s2 but here's the thing #That was a rly dumb plot point it might as well be like that #Idk I think apart from what fish was up to the dollmaker stuff was much worse than strange #EXCEPT THE SCENES WITH STRANGE WHERE THEY TRY TO BLAST YOUR EYEBALLS OUT THAT'S P. BAD #But whatever they did to the like third guy who voiced BTAS scarecrow was like. Stupid + some of the worst cgi I've ever seen on tv #Admittedly that has nothing to do with the writing though I'm just thinking #But like idk the show is pure junk food and it hates women from beginning to end. I feel like it's fairly consistent

i did go into wicked vaguely aware of the love triangle bc ive seen the lyrics to “im not that girl” and was expecting it to be annoying but man. actually it was so pure. i support elphaba and her himbo on the run and i think glinda should also run away and join their polycule.

#i think part of it was that they didnt spend an obnoxious amount of time on it #and i was expecting it to be why she became evil which wasnt the case #altho tbh im also just seeing this less as a love triangle and more as everyone is bi and has broken up w each other twice #ideal ending is for the 3 to be in a polycule tbh. sometimes i dont really feel that way abt love triangles when its two women fighting #bc im like ''throw out the man entirely i dont care abt him'' but man fiyero was just endearing. i liked him a lot #also it took me a stupidly long time to realize he was the scarecrow like it only hit me when they tried to hang him in the field #and i was like ''oh THATS why they kept calling him brainless''#echoed voice

Danny was sitting in the living room watching a live Justice League fight. The fight was big enough that danny thought the camera was way to close to the fight. Then Fright Knight phases into the room through the floor.

Fright knight: My liege

Danny: Fright knight what is it?

Fright knight: I wish vengeance against my abusive father.

Danny: I can understand that, But who?

Fright knight points to the tv showing the justice League fighting a figure in all black armor with glowing red eyes.

Fright knight: My father Ares, greek god of war.

Danny: Wait that make you Pho-

Fright knight: DO NOT SAY THAT NAME!

Danny: ....

Fright knight: I apologize for yelling.

Danny: its fine i understand. You must hate him quite alot.

Fright knight: More than you hate Plasmius.

Danny: Are you sure about that?

Fight knight: Yes

Danny: So you have a brother. The god of... Panic?

Fright knight: He is the god of dread, also the royal assassin.

Danny: i have assassins?!?

Fright knight: ...

Danny: Right... If you want to fight your father you're gonna have to work with the Justice League, and not kill anyone.

Fright knight: You do not desire the head of the god of war?

Danny: Eww no. I dont want to kill a god and i dont want war with Olympus. I dont want to fight Zeus.

Fright knight: But you have already beaten Zeus. He disguised his form and called himself Vortex.

Danny: ...what... Well i may be able to beat him, but there are too many women who are important to me. You know how Zeus is.

Fright knight: Ah indeed. You are wise. ... thank you.

Danny: for what?

Fright knight: It is nice to be reminded that you are not a war hungry tyrant. You care for others. It is refreshing. It is good.

Danny: *blushing* yeah yeah. It looks like you're late.

Fright knight looks at the TV to see the Justice League have already beaten Ares and the Villains.

Fright knight: I wish to go meet and congratulate my aunt on her victory!

Danny: remember to be polite.

Fright knight: i also wish to go to Gotham.

Danny: No

Fright knight: To stab a Clown and a Scarecrow.

Danny: ... Be quick and don't get caught. If anyone catches you you're on your own.
